PUBLIC
SCHOOLS SCHOLARSHIPS
As part of every event, ISEFI has assigned scholarships
to 100 teachers in the City Swim Plan in order to contribute
to their specialization.
PROVINCIAL
SEMINARS
At present, Provincial Seminars are being held with the
purpose to allow teachers in the provinces to have access
to news on Matroswimming and Infant Physical Education.
Said seminars have been sponsored by the Education Department
of the City of Buenos Aires, together with each Provincial
Education Department and Sports Departments.
LECTURES
Our Institute has participated in events organized by other
national and international institutions.
CONGRESSES
ISEFI has carried out the 1st., 2nd. and 3rd. International
Congress on Aquatic Activities having invited well known
foreign figures. In 1993 it was possible to have Mark Spitz
(the best swimmer of all times) invited. These events allow
local teachers to be in touch with educational innovations
in other countries as well as to make profitable interchanges
that will be transferred to their teaching careers.

of Pediatricians
- International Congress on Neuro-pediatric Rehabilitation
(for handicapped babies).
- Argentine Congress on Pediatric Disabilities. 2001.
ISEFI
and the First Argentine Swim School for Babies succeeded
in having Buenos Aires designed as the venue for the 6th.
Worldwide Congress on Aquatic Education for Babies. The
Congress was made jointly with the WABC (World Aquatic Babies
Congress). 800 participants attended.
INTER-INSTITUTES
PHYSICAL EDUCATION TOURNAMENTS
The Inter-Institutes Tournament is held annually. The 23rd.
edition was in 2004, when over 2,500 young teachers attended.
ACADEMIC WORKSHOPS
In 1988, ISEFI initiated the Academic Workshops. In 2000,
they were open to teachers from other institutes. At present,
they are made on an annual basis and open to the general
public.
AQUATIC
EDUCATION WORKSHOPS
Since 1992, ISEFI has been organizing the Argentine Aquatic
Education Workshops every two years summoning teachers from
all the country, both from public and private schools. During
the workshops, local and foreign specialists discuss the
latest pedagogic and didactic trends and educational strategies
related to aquatic teaching. Around 600 teachers attend
each time.
MASS
MEDIA
ISEFI has published books and has been in the Web since
1997.
